Skin is our largest organ that keeps the brain in touch with the outside world which is one of the fundamental principles that this brand was born. All our product formulations are carefully created with natural & non-toxic ingredients at safe levels to offer quality and safe products.

Most people are aware of the toxic and harmful chemicals that we ingest through our food intake and the health impact it. And society gradually moving towards clean diets for better health. But what people are not aware of is that there are so many toxic chemicals are been used on our bodies through the skincare products that we use. Skin is our largest organ that keeps the brain in touch with the outside world which is one of the fundamental principles that this brand was born. All our product formulations are carefully created with natural & non-toxic ingredients at safe levels to offer quality and safe products.
Earth Friendly
We at Four Elements are committed to create and formulate skincare that doesn’t create a burden on the earth. ensure our formulations are water and earth safe, which will not damage our rivers, animals, and plant life once it heads down the drain. We use biodegradable ingredients that will avoid contamination of our waterways and earth. This a commitment not only to create affordable products but also have a minimal cost to our precious nature.
Our primary product packaging’s are Glass or PET plastic to minimize the environmental footprint. And all the packaging we used is 100% recyclable and all packaging is BPA-free.

Product Safety
We use water in some of our formulations and it’s really important to use a preservative system to keep the products free from bacteria, fungus, or mold which can adversely affect your skin than any harmful preservative. We use phenoxyethanol in a very small amount (less than 0.8%) as a preservative system in some of our products to ensure that the Four Elements products are 100% safe for use.
Without a preservative or with a natural preservative system the product will expire less than 6 months or need to be refrigerated (also only for a short time). Our research team is continually looking for new and innovative ways to preserve using natural ingredients. So far either those ingredients are expensive or need to be used in higher amounts which could lose the product efficacy.

Ingredients that we don't use in our products
SLS and SLES are surfactants that can cause skin irritation or trigger allergies. SLES is often contaminated with 1,4-dioxane, a byproduct of a petrochemical process called ethoxylation, which is used to process other chemicals in order to make them less harsh.
We use natural non-toxic plant oils such as Virgin Coconut, Sesame, Avocado, Almond, Jojoba, Rosehip, Olive, Shea and Cocoa Butters to moisturize the skin instead of oils sourced from non-renewable sources.
Synthetic fragrances contain many unknown chemical ingredients which includes hormone disruptors and allergies. Instead we use non-toxic natural essential oils and natural extracts in low quantities.
A class of preservatives commonly used to prevent the growth of bacteria and mold. Parabens are endocrine (or hormone) disruptors, which may alter important hormone mechanisms in our bodies.
A class of plasticizing chemicals used to make products more pliable or to make fragrances stick to skin. Phthalates disrupt the endocrine system and may cause birth defects. Found in: synthetic fragrance, nail polish, hairspray, and plastic materials.
Antimicrobial pesticides toxic to the aquatic environment; may also impact human reproductive systems
Silicones are from non-renewable sources and leave a lasting impact on the earth. Instead we use natural extracts, oils and plant proteins for conditioning properties.
We use gentle surfactants that are derived from plant-based oils.
Products are either uncolored or use ingredients such as charcoal, herbal plant powders, coffee or natural clay.
